Hmm, let's see............................ So, at times a lot of my friends ask me how to start programming and to which I say, well you just start, take a leap of faith keep up the determination and you will clear the basics out, them again keep up the hustle you learn a technology then........... Keep reading.
Where to start:
To start into this field, just pick up a language my recommendation pick python (Trust me you won't regret it, and you can keep reading my post).
Now watch youtube videos and learn how to code on this language. Once the basics are down we can now move on to the advance stuffs...

The Advance stuff:
Now to learn a technology AI, web development , machine learning, game developing......
As a piece of personal advice don't select AI or machine learning off the bat, start by developing software like web apps, desktop apps, game app, or android/IOS apps. These areas of developing help you see how powerful few lines of code can be, and start to realize how these big tech companies are actually doing it. You will realize that you can also build the same (Learn it from the expert who said it, there is a lot more that goes behind an application than that what meets the eye)
Start having a bit of fun by learning hoe to code arduinos and raspberry pis to physically make the code work
Interact with communities:
Learning is made chalenging and fun when you study in like minded community join a club in your school or college who are interested in programming, or join an online community among the many. Make an aim to be like the top programmer in that community.
Go to hackathon, usually as a lone wolf, in this way you can connect with a lot of different programmers.
Keep going:
Now since you learned a lot why not build your own personal project, pick up something big that you have no clue about, have a little faith in your self and go for it, study as much as you want and don't leave it until you finish it.

Now, how about teaching others send proposals to conferences and get in front of the audience and share your experience.
Feeling more confident start a start up, you have a lot option, become a billionaire (and send some money here. duh!!)
